Pricing FAQ
The questions a busy owner asks about cost.
- How much does minidesk cost?
- Three flat plans — Starter (US$50), Growth (US$100) and Business (US$200) a month. Every plan already includes every default plugin, own-domain email and cloud storage, plus a monthly pot of AI credits you spend however the month goes — on replies, pictures, website edits or posts.
- Is there a free plan?
- Not today. Starter is the smallest plan, and it already includes every default plugin rather than gating features behind an upgrade.
- Do you mark up WhatsApp pricing?
- No. minidesk passes Meta's per-conversation price straight through, plus a flat platform fee and nothing else. Most WhatsApp Business API providers add 30–60% on top of Meta's fee — we do not. The receipt is the receipt.
- If I turn a plugin off, does my bill go down?
- No, and that is deliberate. Turning a plugin off tidies the desk so your staff only see what they actually use — it does not change what you pay. Every default plugin is included in every plan, and what you are metered on is the AI credits you spend, not how many plugins are switched on.
- Can I switch plans or pay yearly?
- You can move up or down a tier whenever your usage changes, and the new price starts from that point. Every plan is billed monthly today — yearly billing is coming soon.
