01 · The story

A glowing AI orb at the centre of a server room, orchestrating floating interface panels for Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads and WhatsApp. Server racks on either side, a warm light spilling from an open door in the back.

We started minidesk because we watched too many businesses run on software that didn't talk to each other — and watched them hire one more person, then two, to translate between them.

The product is a real AI assistant. The interesting part is what it sits on: a kernel with five hard rules, a plugin SDK anyone can use, and a marketplace where the work of a thousand developers becomes the floor a business stands on. We are three people, a Telegram bot, and a roadmap that says everything we plan to do — and everything we will not.

02 · What we believe

Four things, said out loud.

  • The wall comes first

    One company never sees another company's data. The wall is built into the database, not asked of the AI.

  • The existing software wins

    We are the path to your accounting, your POS, your stock. We are not the replacement. If it works, we give it a voice.

  • Plugins are people too

    Anyone can build a plugin. We hold the floor. They build the rest. That is the model that scales, and the only one that respects the people who actually know the work.

  • Made in Malaysia

    First customers are MY SMEs. The product is written to travel — the team, the support, the language of every paragraph on this site, starts here.

03 · How it works

    Kernel

    Five hard rules. The wall, the channels, the events, the AI runtime. We hold the floor — the rules are enforced in the database, not asked of the model.

  2. Step 02

    Plugins

    Anyone builds them. They hold the policy. One manifest, every minidesk company. The Standard is the contract; the SDK ships it.

  3. Step 03

    Marketplace

    Where plugins live. Browse, install, audit. The catalogue is the shape of the platform — six shipped, a thousand possible.
