- Does minidesk replace my accounting or POS software?
- No — and that's the point. minidesk is the path to your existing software, not the replacement. You keep your ledger, your POS, your stock system, your WhatsApp. minidesk is the layer on top that makes them talk to each other and to the AI.
- Which accounting and POS software does minidesk support?
- The first 15 integrations cover Malaysia's installed base — SQL Account, AutoCount, Bukku, UBS (Access), Million, QNE/N3, Financio, plus POS like StoreHub, FeedMe, Slurp, ihsanPOS, Loyverse — and the global names that already rank in English-language search: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB. - Can I send WhatsApp messages from minidesk?
- Yes. minidesk ships with the Meta Business verification, so your customer connects their own WhatsApp number through Embedded Signup in minutes — not the 2–4 week wait most BSPs put you through. You pay Meta's per-conversation price; we add a flat platform fee and nothing else.
- Does minidesk see all my business data?
- Only the data the asking person is allowed to see. Every AI answer is filtered by row-level security at the database level — the same security that protects your data when the staff open the system. The AI's scope is the asking human's scope, enforced in SQL, not asked of the model. Read the full architecture on /security.
- How is minidesk different from ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot?
- ChatGPT and Copilot are general-purpose assistants — they don't read your real ledger or your real POS unless you paste it in. minidesk reads your real systems (with your permission, behind your permissions) and answers from your actual numbers, not from a model trained on the internet. It's the difference between asking a smart friend and asking someone who has read your books.
- How much does minidesk cost?
- Three line items: the platform, the AI credits you use, and the WhatsApp conversations Meta charges for (passed through at Meta's price, no markup). The full pricing is being finalised now — sign up on /pricing to be notified the day the published numbers are ready.
- Is minidesk available outside Malaysia?
- Yes. minidesk is built in Malaysia and ships in English first, so anyone can use it today. We then expand into every market we can land a local partner in — Singapore is first (partner-driven, content calendar signed off by the partner before launch), then Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines, each on the same plugin shape with the local-software list written by the local team.
